LG Announces 49-inch UltraWide Monitor Ahead of CES 2019


LG just announced a 49-inch UltraWide monitor before the kickoff of CES 2019.

This monitor features USB-C for display connection, laptop charging and data transfer; as well as a 5120×1440 resolution, 32:9 Dual QHD display, HDR 10, 450 nits of brightness, 2x10W stereo speakers, automatic brightness control, height/tilt/swivel adjustment and supports Nvidia Gsync with a 144Hz refresh rate for gaming.

Samsung unveiled the first 49-inch UltaWide a couple of years ago and other companies such as Dell, Asus and Philips have announced similar offerings.

No word yet on pricing for the LG 49WL95C-W, but we expect more information soon during CES 2019.
